These beautiful gilded coins are part of the exciting new bullion series featuring the virtues that Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II set out to embody as she succeeded to the throne in 1952. The virtues that the Queen has embodied have undoubtedly contributed to her immense success as one of the longest-reigning monarchs of all time. The series is inspired by the six allegorical figures of Queen Victoria located in a memorial dedicated to her outside Buckingham Palace. The Victoria Memorial was inaugurated in 1901 and holds allegorical statues built within the very top of the monument representing Victoria's Virtues, which Queen Elizabeth II carried on. Each of the statues features a female representation of a virtue recognized in Her Majesty Queen Victoria during her reign.

The tiny, isolated Island of Saint Helena is an unlikely candidate as one of the most significant and influential nations in terms of global trade.
