The Incredible Hulk is a fictional superhero who appears in the American comic book series Marvel Comics. The Hulk is the alter ego of world-renowned physicist Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, a meagre, socially withdrawn, and emotionally reserved individual famed for his work in the studies of nuclear physics and gamma radiation. Following an explosion that bathed him in deadly levels of gamma rays, Banner is physically transformed into the Hulk when subjected to emotional stress, at or against his will. This transformation often leads to destructive rampages and conflicts that complicate Banner's civilian life. Despite this, he tries his best to do what's right while battling villains such as Thanos, the Abomination, the Absorbing Man, and many more.
