These rounds are inspired by the Silver Soldiers statue collection. The collection features silver statues of WWII-inspired soldiers of different functions and positions designed in a similar fashion to the popular Green Army Men children toys. The collection released a series of soldiers with playful names relating to their position or function.
The reverse features a playful depiction of Stovepipe Sterling. The name although playful has a deeper meaning. The soldier is wielding an M1 Bazooka, which was the anti-tank rocket launcher used by troops in World War II. The bazooka's appearance resembles a popular musical instrument from the 1930s also named stovepipe. Additionally "sterling" was the name given to soldiers assigned to operate the shoulder-fired bazookas in World War II.
