The origins of Halloween trace back to the Celtic festival of Samhain. The pagan celebration served as a welcome to the harvest at the end of Summer. During those times, people would wear costumes and light bonfires to keep the bad spirits away. The holiday later became designated by the Roman Catholic Pope as a date to honour all saints.
The process of enameling is used to grant these silver bars intense bright colours that last longer than regular paint. The process consists of fusing powdered glass with a metal substrate at a high temperature.
